Tori and Zach Roloff had the shock of their lives when their son Jackson hit the corner of a chair. The Little People Big World family were playing a casual game of hockey when the accident happened.
It had been just an hour since Tori Roloff had been home from her Disneyland trip, when Jackson slammed into the corner of a chair. She and husband, Zach Roloff, had to rush to urgent care.

Jackson Roloff slammed into chair
Jackson Roloff was playing hockey with his family at home when he suddenly slammed into a wooden chair. He hit the corner of the chair, which Tori described as “cushiony,” and split his head open.
The youngster fell backwards into the corner while trying to catch the ball, before the back of his head split. At this point, Tori had only been home for an hour, but “responded brilliantly” to the incident.
“Tori expresses so much anxiety and fear onto our kids when they get hurt. The kids are looking right at her so then they proceed to cry and get scared. She’s gotten a lot better at staying calm,” Zach said.
Tori and Zach rush to urgent care
Tori and Zach rushed to urgent care after Jackson’s accident. She claimed her husband “almost panicked” because “there’s a lot of blood with head injuries,” which Zach described as a “solid cut”.
“I saw a lot of blood coming out,” Zach added, recalling how Jackson touched his head and had blood in his hand. “He was bleeding, so I thought, ‘Where does he need to go? What do we need to do?’.”
They took Jackson straight to the bathroom and cleaned Jackson up with a towel. Tori then ran and got something to compress his head to stop the bleeding, explaining how their son never cried.
Tori then ended up calling a family friend for advice, who urged them to take Jackson to urgent care. Zach believed he’d need stitches, and on the way, Jackson kept asking them questions about the hospital.
“He was just so calm during it. When we get into the room, he’s totally fine, he told the doctors the story. They numbed it but it wasn’t until they put three staples in that he cried, and I cried,” said Tori.
