Khloe Kardashian has spoken out on that time we all thought she went to jail. Well, she’s finally cleared up the truth behind that story, as she’s revealed she wasn’t placed behind bars. Umm, my whole life has been a lie.
Khloe Kardashian tells the truth on *that* jail story
Khloe was never actually taken to jail after she was caught driving a car without a license. She was only 15 at the time, but she basically drove Caitlyn Jenner’s car and was caught by cops, in which she said she was Kourtney Kardashian.
She recalled how she stated Kim Kardashian‘s birthday on her Khloe in Wonderland podcast: “So I guess I swerved a little and I got pulled over and I was wearing a really cute skirt from Forever 21.”
Khloe added how, when they asked for her license and registration number, they said, “‘Of course, they were like ‘You’re lying, get out of the car.’ I got taken to jail, so I went to jail, they called you [Kris Jenner].”
Khloe added, “I don’t know, it was like 9 or 10 at night,” before dropping the truth on the jail story, clarifying that officers didn’t take her to an actual jail, but let her wait at a precinct until Kris could come to pick her up.

Khloe was let off from the incident with a warning, and was not arrested. She said, “They impounded the car and you [Kris] were like, ‘What’s wrong with you? Look at this short skirt you’re wearing, like you could have been a hooker!’”
Kris kept the whole thing a secret from her then-husband, and told officers things like, “Oh, she’s a great girl” and “Ah, teenagers, I don’t know why she did that!” However, she made sure to tell Khloe off in private.
The car was impounded for 30 days, and Caitlyn had no idea. Kris said on the podcast, “I remember he couldn’t get the car the next day and he’s like where’s my Escalade? I said, ‘Oh, it had a scratch and I took it right to the shop!’”
She DID go to jail eight years later
Khloe’s brief warning didn’t scare her enough, because she did end up going to jail in 2007, at 23. She was arrested for a DUI in March that year and later served less than three hours in jail for violating her probation in 2008.
She had failed to complete a roadside clean-up and enrol in an alcohol education class, meaning she faced a sentence of up to 30 days and had to enrolment in an alcohol treatment program within three weeks of her release from jail.
