Umm, it’s safe to say Grant Ellis looks incredibly awkward in clips of The Bachelor finale. Basically, people think he’s acting so uncomfortable that he could end up leaving the show as he began: single.
Grant Ellis’ body language is ‘uncomfortable’ on The Bachelor
Grant Ellis’ body language is clearly uneasy on The Bachelor finale teaser, and an expert has confirmed he “hits every single one” based on “if a list existed of all the different body language cues that spell out ‘uncomfortable’”.
Speaking on behalf of Slingo, body language expert Inbaal Hongiman said: “His lips are tightened, which signifies distaste. Grant’s eyes are lowered, showing that he’s uncomfortable.”
He added: “He rubs his hands, a mark of nervousness, and desire to move on. His hand flies to his waistband, adjusting it, we see him fiddle with his cuff. Clothes-fixing are signs of nerves, but also a desire to be liked.”
“The screen then cuts to the audience, and when we catch up with Grant again, his eyes are closed. This is a protective gesture, as if he’s placing his eyelids between himself and the world, needing some privacy.
“We see him biting both his lips, which shows his nerves, and a desire to suppress emotions. Grant grabs one of his hands with the other and tugs, a soothing gesture and demonstrates feelings of frustration,” the expert said.

Although Grant has kissed many girls on The Bachelor and essentially had all the attention on him, The Bachelor finale appears to be completely different from that. In fact, he “wants to be anywhere else,” the expert said.
The body language expert added that his behaviour shows a sense of unease and added: “He purses his lips together and moves them to the side – this can be interpreted as a sign of strong disagreement.”
“This uneasy body language tells us without a shadow of a doubt, that he’d like to be anywhere else, doing anything else, with absolutely anybody not associated with the show,” he continued.
