Lauren from Love Is Blind is sharing major tea, weeks after season eight of Love Is Blind aired. She never got her happy ending with Dave, but there was one person who played a huge part in their relationship: Daniel Nides. He’s her ex from before the experiment, but she’s now revealed he applied for Love Is Blind – and he’s responded with receipts.

Lauren claims her ex applied for Love Is Blind

Lauren is claiming her ex, Daniel Nides, applied for Love Is Blind, which she found out days ago. She said on AD Smith’s What’s the Reality? podcast: “He full-on applied to be on the show. I don’t know if he did that before or after because he knew that I was talking to casting from the minute we started talking, and I don’t know if he applied before or after I gave him that information. I just found out about this.”

“He never f***ing told me that. Why would he? It would have totally contradicted his whole narrative that he’s spinning right now,” Lauren added. She had applied for the show before meeting Daniel, he’s claimed, but they decided to “keep things casual” once their relationship developed, with her messaging him on the way to the pods.

Her ex Daniel drops receipts on a casting call

Daniel has now broken his silence and dropped major receipts that it was actually Love Is Blind casting agents who reached out to him. He sent Reality Shrine the evidence, stating that “no response was given” to the agent who reached out to him on LinkedIn back in October, while they looked for singles in the Twin Cities, an area in Minnesota, for the show.

He told us: “Part of producing a show like Love Is Blind entails reaching out to hundreds, if not thousands, of singles in the targeted market. I was solicited, like many of my single friends, to apply. No application was ever sent. This is just another example of how the story keeps changing fit to whatever narrative suits her best at the moment.”

“Relationships are hard and can be confusing. I think we all try to rationalize or remember what happened to paint ourselves in a better light. Lauren and Dave are good people. How they remember things and what actually happened can be distorted by time and over analysing. Being on a show that is so closely monitored by the world is hard. It seems like you are constantly defending your character. I wish them the best.”
