Natalie Morales has been absent from Grey’s Anatomy for several episodes, but it’s confirmed that she will be returning later in the season.
The actress joined the show in season 20 as pediatric surgeon Dr. Monica Beltran, appearing in six episodes that year. She was confirmed to recur in season 21, but has only appeared in three of the 10 episodes that have aired so far. The last time we saw her was in November!
