Sydney Sweeney‘s relationship with fiance Jonathan Davino has been under scrutiny in recent weeks amid rumors that they may have split up.
TMZ reported on February 21 that the longtime couple had pushed back their wedding because of their busy schedules. While the wedding date had reportedly been set for May 2025, it’s unclear when the wedding will now be.
A new report surfaced this week about Sydney spending time away from Jonathan, but a new sighting seems to paint a different story.

On March 11, TMZ claimed that Sydney has been staying at the Beverly Hills Hotel for weeks and that Jonathan has been nowhere in sight. The outlet claims that she has been spending time with “a couple of girlfriends and a bodyguard.” She also was just in Paris for fashion week without him.
Photos snapped on March 12 might give a clue to what’s going on though. Jonathan was spotted at Sydney‘s $6 million Los Angeles mansion on Wednesday to oversee construction with their contractors.
It’s possible that Sydney has been staying at the hotel amid construction on their home and Jonathan could perhaps be staying at the house to oversee the work. TMZ reports that property records show that the home was purchased by Sydney‘s trust and that she didn’t buy it with Jonathan. It seems like he’d have no interest in overseeing the construction if they had broken up recently.
