
It’s official – we’re getting more Ted Lasso!
On Friday (March 14), Apple TV+ announced that the Emmy-winning comedy series is returning for a fourth season with star and creator Jason Sudeikis reprising his role as the titular head coach.
“As we all continue to live in a world where so many factors have conditioned us to look before we leap, in season four, the folks at AFC Richmond learn to LEAP BEFORE THEY LOOK, discovering that wherever they land, it’s exactly where they’re meant to be,” Jason, 49, shared in a press release with The Hollywood Reporter.
Keep reading to find out more…While plot details and a release date are being kept under wraps, it has been confirmed that Brett Goldstein (who played Roy Kent) will be returning as a writer and executive producer along with fellow EPs Brendon Hunt (who played Coach Beard), Joe Kelly, Jane Becker, Jamie Lee, Bill Wrubel, and Leanne Bowen.
As of right now, it’s unclear if any other cast members will be returning for season 4.
In the season 3 finale, which aired back in 2023, Ted moved back to Kansas to be closer to his son and ex-wife while the other members of the Richmond team moved into new phases of their lives.
