Vicky Pattison tied the knot to her husband, Ercan Williams, at a lavish wedding in Italy. That was the second of their ceremonies, as the My Big Fat Geordie Wedding stars legally wed in London first.
As E4 airs not just Married at First Sight, but new wedding series, My Big Fat Geordie Wedding, it’s all systems go for one former star. Former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison spent thousands on her day!
Vicky Pattison’s wedding venue costs £3K
Vicky Pattison’s wedding venue, Castello Monaci, is in Puglia, Italy. She tied the knot in September, where couples need to rent the villa exclusively for 7 days. The price starts at 4000 euros (approximately £3,300).
The starting price of a wedding menu for 100 adults costs 155 euros per person. With the flowers and other additions, it ended up costing thousands, but she first got married in a legal ceremony in London.
Vicky and Ercan tied the knot at Marylebone Town Hall in front of 150 guests, where prices start from £800. Oh, and to add to the costs was nothing less than five bridal dresses!
She claimed the overall price cost the same price as a house, but her initial budget “wouldn’t even cover the flowers,” as told to Rock My Weddings. The “dream wedding” consisted of 13 bridesmaids dresses.
She was quoted £30K for flowers
Vicky was sent a voice note from her sister asking if she “thinks she’s Elton John,” as she was quoted £30K for flowers. Ercan agreed the price was like “throwing money down the drain”.
She said herself that the flowers were the most expensive part of the wedding, while hiring Amie Bone, a floral artist and event designer who created their table flower layout for the special day.
Amie sells floral bouquets from £125 but wedding costs vary depending on the type of ceremony. Vicky went with her after lowering her budget for flowers, while her main wedding dress is by Leah De Gloria.
Leah De Gloria dresses start from £335 and go up to £13K. Vicky said, “I was really shocked. Weddings are just so expensive. We’ve had to adjust our expectations, but I’m okay with it.”
